DID YOU KNOW?
26.07.2015.

AN INTERESTING FACT, ANECDOTE OR FUNNY STORY YOU MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN OR REALISED IN RELATION TO MEDJUGORE!

FIRST AND LAST APPARITIONS TRANSMITTED THROUGH ST JAMES

St James the Greater being processed from the Parish of St James, Medjugojre, yesterday on the Patrons Feast Day, July 25th.

If the apparitions of Medjugorje are one day approved, then Church history will have recorded the first and last ever Marian apparitions and messages from Our Lady as being transmitted through St James the Apostle.

The first ever apparition of the Blessed Mother, approved by the Church, was an Apparition of Our Lady of the Pillar who appeared to St James in Spain, 40AD, whilst Our Lady was still alive (bilocation).

In Medjugorje, the visionaries testify that Our Lady told them these apparitions are now the last ones. Coincidentally they are happening through the Parish of St James, Medjugorje, established in 1892 – 89 years before the first apparition.

Therefore not only is St James the patron of pilgrims and conversions, but if Medjugorje is approved he will also open and close Our Lady’s mission through Marian apparitions in almost exactly 2000 years!

“Dear children! Today I rejoice with your patron saint and call you to be open to God’s will, so that in you and through you, faith may grow in the people you meet in your everyday life. Little children, pray until prayer becomes joy for you. Ask your holy protectors to help you grow in love towards God.

It (the Visitation) was also the date being mentioned by the nrsues at the Hospital where Pope John Paul II stayed when he visited Lourdes…I’m tempted to see if I can put money on it at William Hill…;-)

If I were the Pope, I’d retire those who are not willing to follow Our Blessed Mother. Tyrants who demand obedience and claim authority have fallen throughout history. We cannot wait and shrink while someone judges Mary relevance and reality with no personal evidence / experience. Our growth is based on keeping our eyes on Jesus. The way we do that is by using our heart…as Mary calls us to do…”Pray with your HEART!” Exercising our heart makes it 1. closer to God, 2. live fully flat out 3. growing spiritually healthier is the definition of happiness! Those who don’t use it… lose it! Mary always leads us to Jesus. Some do not want us to get there. However, we must be kind to all our brothers and sister, ever the rebellious, insolent… not so sure about the died in the wool evil ones.
